Srinagar: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man, who was posted in Qazigund area of Kulgam district, allegedly died due to brain hemorrhage in Sher Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS)  Soura, officials said.

A local news gathering agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO) quoting an unnamed official reported that an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) GD Sanatan Singh of 163 Battalion CRPF fell unconscious two days ago at his camp in Walnut Factory Qazigund.

He said Mr. Singh, who hails from West Bengal started bleeding from his nose and mouth following which he was rushed to a nearby hospital where from he was referred to SKIMS, adding that on late night, the CRPF man died—(KNO)
