A paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Inspector died due to cardiac arrest in Nillow area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam on Tuesday, reported a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

Unnamed officials told the agency that the inspector of 18 battalion of CRPF was posted at Nillow area in Kulgam when he suffered a heart attack while he was on duty.

He was shifted to the hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. A police officer while confirming the death of the Inspector identified the deceased as Ravi Kumar from Himachal Pradesh. (KNO)
