In what shows the resurgence of Covid-19 deadly pandemic, J-K Friday recorded 517 positive cases, the biggest ever in the ensuing year so far.

As per the official figures, in total 517 positive cases were reported in the UT of which Srinagar tops the list at 173 cases, followed by Baramulla at 86, Budgam, 88, Pulwama 04, Kupwara 12, Anantnag 12, Bandipora 14, Ganderbal 09, Kulgam 21 and Shopian 02.

“Jammu recorded 62 positive cases, Udhampur 01, Rajouri 07, Doda 06, Kathua 14, samba 03, Kishtwar 00, Poonch 00, Ramban 03 and Reasi 00,” the official figures revealed.

Moreover, five more patients who were tested positive for Covid-19 in J-K in the last 24 hours taking death toll to 2,003 in UT. (KNO)
