Two more doctors have lost their battle to Covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir taking the toll to five in just two days.

Former Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) President, Suhail Naik while taking to his Twitter handle said, “Two more doctors today lost their lives to COVID. They include Dr ML Sharma of Karan Bagh Gadigarh and Dr MK Raina of Trikuta Nagar. Dr Sharma passed away in the GMC Jammu and Dr Raina at ASCOMS Sidhra. With this, five doctors have died of virus during last two days.”

On Friday, three doctors Dr. Tahir Mirza, Dr. Mohammad Akram Malik and Dr. Busharat Hussain Shah were among the deceased.

Dr. Mirza was posted at Emergency Hospital Chowki Choura in Akhnoor and was undergoing treatment at the Command Hospital Udhampur where he breathed his last.

Former Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Poonch, Dr. Mohammad Akram Malik, died due to Coronavirus at Narayana Hospital Katra.

Dr. Busharat Hussain Shah of Mendhar in Poonch district, ISM Doctor, also died due to Covid-19.
