Srinagar: Seven  more people tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Tuesday taking the overall toll in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir to 62.

Government spokesman Rohit Kansal said that cases have risen to 62 in Jammu and Kashmir out which 58 are active cases. While 50 of the active cases have been reported in Kashmir division, 12 are in Jammu.

He further said that 17041 people are under active surveillance.
