India recorded a single-day rise of 12,847 new coronavirus infections, raising the tally to 4,32,70,577, while the active cases stand at 63,063, the Union Health Ministry said on Saturday.
The death toll due to the pandemic has climbed to 5,24,817 with 14 fresh fatalities on Friday, the data updated by the ministry at 8 am stated.
