Srinagar: 35 more people tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday; the tally has surpassed the 700-mark.

The Department of Information and Public Relations informed that 35 more people tested positive while 33 recovered. Among the total, 640 are from Kashmir and 61 from Jammu.

Government’s spokesman, Rohit Kansal, said that the Jammu and Kashmir has increased the testing capacity, with over 2500 people were tested in a day.

Currently, the country is locked down till 17 May to contain the spread of COVID-19.
