Srinagar: Thirteen people tested positive for COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the total number of patients in J-K to 836.

Nodal Officer for COVID-19, Dr. Saleem at Chest and Disease Hospital told that out of 463 samples tested at its virology lab, six tested positive of the pathogen.

Among the positive cases, two are from Srinagar, one from Awantipora, while three from Super Specialty Hospital, Shireen Bagh, including two staff nurses and one attendant of a patient from Shahlatoo, Shopian.

Similarly, out of 947 samples processed Viral Diagnostic Lab of the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Science, six tested positive for COVID-19, which include four from Ganderbal district and two from Handwara, said Professor Farooq Jan, medical superintendent of SKIMS.

Another person was tested positive from Kathua, Jammu.
