Srinagar: Six travelers were among 122 fresh COVID-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last twenty-four hours on Saturday. Also, two deaths were reported, both from the Jammu division—a man from Ploura area of the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir and a woman from the Gandya area of Kathua.
Among the fresh cases, sixty-four were from Jammu Division and fifty-eight from Kashmir Division. Srinagar reported twenty-five cases, Baramulla (8), Budgam (5), Kupwara (7), Pulwama (6), Anantnag (0), Bandipora (2), Ganderbal (2), Kulgam (3), Shopian (0), Jammu (47), Udhampur (5), Rajouri (0), Doda (5), Kathua (4), Kishtwar (2), Samba (0), Poonch (0), Ramban (0) and Reasi (1).
Moreover, 267 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals — 116 from the Jammu Division and 151 from the Kashmir Valley.
Out of 122425 positive cases, 2094 are active positive, 118422 have recovered and 1909 have died — 711 in Jammu and 1198 in Kashmir. Out of 4059790 test results available, 3937365 samples have been tested as negative till date. (GNS)
