A 10-month-old baby in Dakshina district of Karnataka has been tested positive for COVID-19.
The baby was suffering from fever and severe acute respiratory illness. On 23 March, he was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru, where he was tested positive for the novel coronavirus later. The baby is currently stable and his relatives are under quarantine, reported The News Minute.
Till now 724 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed with 17 deaths in India. “In the last 24 hours, 75 new positive cases and four deaths have been reported,” Lav Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, Union Health Ministry said.
