Srinagar: Ten army personnel, four policemen, three pregnant women and as many minors besides two doctors were among 125 fresh COVID-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. After this, the tally has risen patients to 5680.

Among the cases, unnamed sources told a news agency, Global News Agency, 31 were reported Srinagar followed by Pulwama 18, Kulgam 11, Baramulla 10, eight each in Anantnag and Jammu, seven each in Shopian, Bandipora, Kathua and Kupwara, Samba 4, two from Budgam and Udhampur while one each were reported from Ganderbal, Poonch and Rajouri.

Dr. G H Yatoo, Nodal Officer Coronavirus Control Measures at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences told GNS that out of the 3126 samples processed at the viral diagnostic lab today, 62 returned positive for the virus.

Professor Farooq Jan, Medical Superintendent SKIMS Soura, told GNS 17 are from Pulwama, 12 from Kulgam, eight from Anantnag, seven from Shopian, six each from Srinagar and Bandipora, three from Baramulla and one each from Budgam, Ganderbal and Kupwara. (GNS)
