Government forces launched a search operation in the hilly area between Gupkar and Badami Bagh Cantonment after they observed suspicious movement during the wee hours on Tuesday.
Reliable sources told a local news agency, Kashmir News Trust that government forces from 20 Rashtriya Rifles observed a suspicious movement in the hilly area from Gupkar side and immediately launched a search operation.
They said suspicious movement was observed near Baloo Post. The government forces on duty launched a search operation in the hilly area, however, nothing suspicious was found there.
Srinagar based defense spokesperson couldn’t be contacted for the comments. (KNT)
