The government forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation in several villages close to the Line of Control in Mangnar area of Poonch district, reported a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
Unnamed officials told the agency that some information of specific nature has been received by forces regarding suspicious movement in the area after which forest area and villages close to Line of Control in Mangnar of Poonch sector were cordoned and search operation launched.
” Army’s Rashtriya Rifles battalion and the police teams are on job and the operation is going on,” the police officials said. (KNO)
