Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar on Thursday said that all the police units have been directed to facilitate the hassle free movement of doctors, health care workers and journalists during the lockdown period in Kashmir.

According to a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the IGP has asked the media men associated with both print and electronic to carry identity proofs with them.

Pertinently, the government has announced lockdown in several J-K districts from Thursday evening to Monday morning. The decision has been taken in wake of the spike in the COVID-19 cases.
