Burglars looted unaccounted cash from a donation box at a Gurduwara in Tral town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The incident occurred at Khasipora Tral during the night intervening Tuesday at Gurudwara Singh Sabha.
DDC member Avtar Singh Trali said Gurudwara is under construction and devotees had donated a lot of money which was kept in donation box, looted by the burglars.
He expressed concern and hoped that police will nab the culprits. No Trali appealed to the government to deploy security guards at minority religious places.
Pertinently, burglars in Kashmir Valley in the past too have targeted the religious shrines mostly of the majority community. (KNT)
