Body of a man was found under suspicious circumstances along a railway track in Sarsona of Wanpoh area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district this morning, officials said.
They told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS), that some passersby saw the body hanging by a tree and informed the police about it. A police team soon after reached the spot and shifted the body to GMC Anantnag for medico-legal formalities, they said.
The deceased has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Razzaq Dar, a resident of Audra Anantnag.
Confirming it, a police official told GNS that they have taken cognizance of the recovery of the body. (GNS)
