A black bear was captured alive by a Wildlife Department team in Andoo Shangus area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday Morning.

Reports reaching to a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS), said that on receiving information about the black bear along human habitation, a team of experts from range office Achabal was sent to the area to tranquillise the black bear. A trap was laid in the area and the bear was finally captured without causing any injury to anyone.

The bear has been shifted to Daksum Wildlife Sanctuary. (GNS)
