An elderly woman was injured in an attack by a bear at Baila Mandi in Poonch district on Thursday.
The woman has been identified as Sakina Bi, aged around 80, wife of Fata Mohammad, resident of Baila, GNS reported.
She was brought to sub district hospital Mandi and then shifted to district hospital Poonch.
Meanwhile, people have expressed resentment against the Wildlife Department for failing to prevent such incidents. They urged authorities to capture the wild animals.
