Andrew Whitehead is a former BBC Delhi correspondent and is now Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the King’s India Institute, King’s College, London. His book A Mission in Kashmir, about events in the Valley in 1947, is to be republished by Gulshan Books in Srinagar.
