Army trooper allegedly kills colleague in north Kashmir

An army trooper has been killed in an alleged ‘fratricide’ incident in Sogam area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that there was a brawl between troopers from 28 Rashtriya Rifles at Lassipora Sogam.

One of the troopers from the Road Opening Party allegedly fired upon another forces personnel who reportedly died on spot.

Srinagar based Defense Spokesperson Colonel Emran Mosavi told KNT that he is trying to find out and the moment he gets information, he will share the details. [KNT]
