A woman from south Kashmir’s Anantnag district passed away in the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Chairperson, J-K Hajj Committee, Safina Beigh expressed her condolence with the bereaved family.

“My heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family of pilgrim, Naseema Akhter resident of Uranhall Anantnag who breathed her last in Makkah al-Mukarramah. May Almight Allah bestow her with jannat ul firdous. Rest in Peace! (sic),” Beigh tweeted.
