A 27-year-old army personnel died in a mysterious circumstance at a hospital in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
Unnamed sources told a local news agency, Kashmir News Trust (KNT), that an army personnel posted at Mazbugh Sopore fell unconscious and was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Sopore where doctors declared him brought dead.
The cause of the his death is being ascertained while police have started proceedings under CrPc 174.
The deceased has been identified as Gurpreet Singh son of Balvinder Singh, a resident of Malikpur Punjab. He was affiliated with 22 Rashtriya Rifles. (KNT)
