Police on Wednesday claimed to have killed 3 militants of Jaish- e- Muhammad militant outfit in a pre-dawn gunfight that broke out in Chandgam area of Pulwama.
As per police among the three militants killed, one was a foreigner while two others were locals. A local militant has been identified as Mir Owais Amin. In the first five days of 2022, Kashmir region has witnessed at least five gunfights in which eight militants were killed including two foreigners.
