A 50 year old man, who was missing for the last four days, was found dead in Wagam Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday afternoon.
Eyewitness told a local news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that some boys spotted the body in orchards of Wagam village and informed the villagers about it.
Villagers later approached the police, they said, adding that the body identified as Riyaz Ahmad Rather of Wagam Chadoora was recovered from the spot.
As per the villagers, the man was missing for the last four days and the family had not lodged any missing report about it in the Police Station.
The body has been sent to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora while the cause of death is yet to be ascertained—(KNO)
