Police on Sunday recovered two minor girls within a span of hours in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a statement, police said that today on Police Station Sheeri recovered a minor girl of 15-16 years of age (name withheld) from Batmaloo Srinagar and arrested the kidnapper within hours, after her father had filed a complaint of her kidnapping in the Police Station.
The statement further stated that, In another similar incident, Police Station Boniyar today traced out a missing girl (about 15-16 yrs old) from Hakapathri area within 24 hours after her father filed a complaint yesterday on 09th April that his daughter (name withheld) is missing since 08-04-2021.
Acting swiftly, police parties were able to track down the missing individuals within hours., reads the statement.(GNS
