Four persons injured in fox attack in north Kashmir

Three women including a minor girl sustained injuries after attacked by fox in Lacchhe area in Handwara on Friday.

As per the reports, three women namely Saja Begum (70) wife of Mohammad Dayam War, Mugli Begum (60) wife of Mohammad Shaban Ahanger, Khalida Begum (28) Shabir Ahmad War and a four-year-old girl Ayat Irshad daughter of Irshad Ahmad Ahanger were attacked by a fox early this evening.

The injured were taken to a nearby health facility from where they were shifted to District Hospital Handwara.

When contacted, a medical official at DH Handwara said that the injured persons are doing well and there is nothing much to worry about their overall well-being.

“They are being administered with required treatment and are likely to be discharged soon,” the medical official said. (GNS)
