India recorded 560 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the fatality count to 413,123.
The country recorded 38,079 new coronavirus infections in a single day, pushing the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 31,064,908, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Saturday.
The active number of Covid-19 cases in the country is 4,24,025 while 3,02,27,792 people have recovered from the virus so far.
So far, the world has reported 190,313,909 Covid-19 cases since the pandemic broke with 4,092,091 deaths. The US remains the worst-hit country, followed by India, Brazil, France and Russia.
