Police registered 8 cases for violating lockdown in north Kashmir

Police on Friday registered eight cases against those people who were found violating lockdown orders here in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

In a statement, the police said that while enforcing the lockdown in the district and implementing the orders thereof, Baramulla Police registered 8 cases against shopkeepers, riders for violating instructions & running their businesses unnecessarily and beyond timings allowed, further some vehicles were moving on roads without valid justification/cause/pass.

The Baramulla police request general populace of the district to stay indoors as far as possible, and venture out only in case of emergency situation, they said.
