A ceremony to commemorate the “sacrifices” of the government forces’ personnel is scheduled to be held at Srinagar’s Kashmir International Conference Centre (KICC) on 4 April, reported a local news agency, KDC.

Quoting unnamed sources, the agency reported that the event will be held under the banner: Global Strategic Policy Foundation.

Sources told the agency that a “grand panel of distinguished speakers including former Union Minister General V.K Singh, Lt. Guv. Manoj Sinha, Governor Kerala, Arif Mohammad Khan, Vice Admiral (R) Anup Singh, Lt. Gen. Ata Hasnain (R), Lt. Gen. Sanjay Kulkarni (R) and other prominent personalities will be attending the event”.

“The grand event will mark the remembrance of sacrifices of security forces, civilians and felicitation next of kin of these brave hearts”. (KDC)
