A laborer by profession drowned in river Jehlum near Kernabel Kakapora area of south Kashmir Pulwama on Wednesday, reported a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS).
The 20-year-old man identified as Yaseen Ahmad Sheikh, son of Bashir Ahmad Sheikh, was extracting sand when he drowned near Sombura bridge. “Searches are underway to trace him out,” unnamed officials told the agency.(GNS)
