Suspected militants attacked a police party in Pulwama district late Tuesday evening, injuring two personnel, reported a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS), quoting unnamed official sources.
The sources told that the militants lobbed a grenade at the police party near Wanpora Pulwama, injuring head constable Khurshid Ahmad and SPO Ishfaq Ahmad.
The duo suffered splinter injuries and were taken to hospital. “Both are stable,” they said. A senior police officer confirmed to GNS that the attack and said that both of them suffered “minor injuries and are stable.” (GNS)
