Srinagar: An eighteen-year-old boy was killed in a road accident in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday.

Reports reaching GNS said that a bike bearing registration no JK01G-5850 and Tavera bearing registration no JK01M-5869 met with an accident at Nowgam resulting in critical injuries to the motorcyclist who succumbed to injuries at SMHS hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Irfan Aijaz Khan son of Aijaz Ahmad Khan resident of Aaribagh, Kanipora.

A police official told GNS that the driver identified as Manzoor Ahmad Ganai has been detained and a case has been registered in this regard at the concerned police station for further investigation. (GNS)
