A 16-year-old student has gone missing from a seminary in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, reported a local news agency, Kashmir News Trust (KNT).

Quoting unnamed sources in the Madrasa Islamia Arabia seminary, the news agency reported that a 16-year-old student, Qaiser Ahmad Gagi, a resident of Wani Durusa Sogam in Kupwara left school on 19 December and did not return to date.

The seminary is located Bandipora’s Ongam village. A missing report has been lodged at the concerned police station. However, after this story was published, the police updated that the boy has been traced and handed back to the family. (KNT)
