A 15-year-old-girl died by suicide in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday after consuming some poisonous substance at her home.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a resident of Devipora Kurag area of Ganderbal, the teenage girl consumed some poisonous substance at her home. Soon after the incident, the teenager was rushed to District Hospital Ganderbal, and was later referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
However, doctors at SKIMS declared her as brought dead and the reason for the suicide was not immediately known.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this read and further investigations have been taken up.
