A consignment of arms, narcotics and a suspected material, believed to be an IED, has been recovered by army on the Line of Control in Rajouri district.

The recovery has been made from Lam forward Saryah area in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.

Officials said  that army deployed on LoC in Lam made this recovery during an operation in the forward area.

“About 1600 hours on March 11, aelrt troops recovered 2 kg narcotics, 2 pistols, 2 pistols magazines and an IED in Lam area of Rajouri district,” an official said. (KNO/GNS)
