Srinagar A 10-day-old baby and a 35-year-old woman were among fifteen more covid-19 related deaths in last 24-hours in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the fatality count to 1214.

The infant is the youngest COVID-19 victim in J-K, the officials said. Earlier, an 11-day-old died on 12 July while a 15-day-old baby from Bemina area died here on 19 June.

Reports said that ten deaths were reported from Jammu division including six from winter capital of the J-K, two each from Udhampur and Kathua besides one each from Doda and Samba.

Five deaths were reported from Kashmir Valley include three from Srinagar and two from Budgam districts.

They said a 65-year-old man from Harwan died at SKIMS Soura , thirteen days after he was admitted to the tertiary care hospital.

A 65-year-old man from Pakharpora Budgam died at CD hospital, one of the exclusive facilities for the management of the covid-19 patients in the Valley. The sexagenarian was admitted to the facility on September 29.

Also, an 85-year-old man from Brain Nishat Srinagar died a week after he was admitted to the hospital, they said.

A 65-year-old woman from Gundipora Beerwah who was admitted with bilateral community acquired pneumonia died eleven days after admitted to the SMHS hospital here, they said.

Among others, the deaths from Jammu division include a 10-days-old baby rom Dachan Kishtwar, a 35-year-old woman from Battal Walia Udhampur, a 56-year-old from Rewa (Madya Pradesh), a 83-year-old from Karan Nagar Jammu, a 55-year-old from Ustaad Mohalla and a 63-year-old from Govidnpora Satwari.
