A youth sustained bullet injury in forces action after a cordon and search operation (CASO) was launched in Kissrigam village of Kakapora area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
Local sources said that the youth received foot injury and was referred to Bone and Joint hospital here in Srinagar.
Reports said that government forces launched CASO in Kissrigam after inputs about the presence of militants.
Soon after the siege was laid in the area by forces scores of youth threw rocks on them.
In the ensuing clashes a youth whose identity has not been ascertained yet received bullet injury.
