Chinese billionaire Jack MA, who is at the forefront of fight against the novel coronavirus by donating billions in aid and necessary equipments to the world has said that he will be making more donations to Latin America.
Taking to his twitter handle MA wrote, “One world, one fight! We will donate emergency supplies – 2 million masks, 400K test kits, 104 ventilators – to 24 Latin American countries including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Dominican Republic and Peru. We will ship long-distance, and we will hurry! WE ARE ONE!.”
The Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation have increased their philanthropy efforts during the global coronavirus crisis by donating medical supplies to 24 countries in Latin America.
Ma, worth $38.9 billion on the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List, stepped down as chairman of China’s e-commerce giant in September to focus on philanthropy.
