Train service suspended in valley for third day

Train services in Kashmir  remained suspended for third day on Monday for “security reasons” in the Kashmir valley following shutdown call given by Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) against Pulwama civilian killings.

As per the reports, no train will  run on in the Valley today as a precautionary measure.

On Saturday, seven civilians were killed after government forces fired on protesters when during a gunfight  between militants and forces.

The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL), comprising of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, and Muhammad Yasin Malik on Saturday called for a shutdown and a protest march to the Badamibagh army Cantonment in Srinagar on Monday to mourn the killings.
