Three militants killed in Anantnag


Three militants have been killed in an encounter by the government forces in Srigufwara area of south Kashmir’s Islamabad district on Friday. The internet services across Srinagar and Anantnag have been snapped.

Talking to ANI, J-K DGP S.P. Vaid said 3 bodies (of terrorist) have been retrieved.

Earlier in the morning, the house owner, where militants were hiding, and a policeman succumbed to the injuries in the gunfight that broke out in Srigufwara.

Taking to Twitter, DGP Vaid griefed the death of one policeman said the killed militants belong to Islamic State of Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK).

Several civilians were injured in the clashes that erupted soon after the gunfight began.
