Thousands of people on Saturday attended the last rites of militants killed during a gunfight with government forces in south Kashmir’s Pulwama.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmir Walla that thousands of people including women and children participated in the funeral of three slain local militants in their respective villages in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
They said that amid pro-freedom , anti-India and pro-Pakistan slogans the slain were laid to rest.
Four Jaish-e-Mohammad militants were killed in a gunfight at Hanjin, Rajpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday morning.
Three of the slain are locals while one is a foreigner.
The slain militants have been identified as Muzamil Ahmad of Rahmoo,Pulwama, Waseem Ahmed of Tiken,Pulwama, Muzamil Ahmad of Prichoo Pulwama and one foreigner namely M. Kahlil Khan.
