Those targeting Sidhu doing disservice to peace in Sub-Continent: Imran Khan

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Tuesday came in the rescue of under fire Punjab minister an former cricketer,  Navjot Singh Sidhu saying those who target him are doing great disservice to peace in subcontinent.

Khan also thanked the former cricketer for attending his oath taking ceremony in Pakistan, “I want to thank Sidhu for coming to Pakistan for my oath taking. He was an ambassador of peace & was given amazing love & affection by ppl of Pakistan. Those in India who targeted him are doing a gt disservice to peace in the subcontinent – without peace our ppl cannot progress,” Khan wrote on his Twitter.

Sidhu has been in the middle of a controversy after he hugged army chief of Pakistan General Qamar Javed Bajwa during the oath taking ceremony of Imran Khan.
