Suspected militants attack army patrol party in Shopian

Suspected militants on Friday night opened fire on an Army patrol party in Habdipora area of Shopian district in South Kashmir.

Some unidentified gunmen opened fire at army personnel of 44 RR in the area after the conclusion of night prayers, news-portal The Kashmiriyat quoted official sources.

“The patrol party was moving towards the camp when someone opened fire at their vehicle,” officials told.

As per the initial reports nobody has been injured in the firing.
