Scores of people including students from different areas have gathered in Parigam area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district to demand the body of Mudasir Ahmed Bhat.
Bhat’s family claimed that their son was killed in a gunfight with the forces on 25 May in Tanghdar area of North Kashmir.
In Pulwama too, scores of youth started protesting in main town demanding the body of another youth Sheeraz Sheikh, who was claimed as their son by a family.
Immediately after the protest, stone throwing clashes begun in the area, responding to which the police fired tear smoke shells to disperse the crowds.
The township is observing a shutdown for the third consecutive day.
