Senior journalist Khursheed Wani bereaved


Srinagar: Senior journalist Khursheed Wani’s father passed away on Monday after being  unwell for a long time.

Ghulam Hassan Wani was 74 and was not well for many years and is survived by two sons and three sisters.

Wani’s  father was admitted to the SHMS hospital late last evening. He initially responded to the treatment but finally  lost his battle for life and breathed his last Monday afternoon.

He was living with his family in Devar village of Tral. The family has moved his mortal remains to Devar for funerals at the ancestral village. His funeral prayers will be held before Maghrib, the evening prayers, at Devar.

Wani is a senior journalist who reports for the Pioneer.
