Scores injured during funeral processions of militants in Shopian

Scores of civilians got injured during clashes with government forces at  Killora  and Ganawpora villages of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Reports said that army opened fire on the funeral processions of the slain militants in Malikgund , injuring dozens of civilians.

They said that  nine of the injured  have been referred to Srinagar hospitals with two having  bullet injuries and seven pellet injuries. .

On the other hand in Ganawpora village of the district government forces including army opened fire on protesters.

At least one civilian has been injured in the force’s action

Five militants were killed in an encounter with government in Killora village of the district.
