Police rescues 150 stranded people from Mughal road

Police on Saturday claimed that 150 persons were rescued by the authorities from past three days who were stranded on the historic Mughal road due to heavy snowfall.

The road was blocked due to heavy snowfall and landslides. No traffic movement was allowed by the authorities from both sides.

However, the authorities have rescued over 150 passengers from the road following its closure due to snowfall.

Reports said that eight passenger vehicles with around thirty passengers were rescued in the intervening night of November 1 and 2 while around sixty truckers were rescued yesterday noon. 67 truckers were rescued last night.
