Panchayat polls: Pulwama records 0.6% voting, Baramulla 50.6% till noon

The voting for fourth phase of the nine-phased Panchayat election in Jammu and Kashmir is underway.

Till 12 noon in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, 43.4 percent polling was recorded. In Bandipora district, 18.0 percent. And in Baramullah district, 50.6 percent voting was recorded respectively, as per official reports.

In central Kashmir’s Budgam district, till 12 noon, 37.3 percent voting was recorded.

In South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, 0.6 percent voting was recorded, while as in Kulgam district, 9.4 percent voting took place till 12 noon. In Anantnag district, 4.7 percent voting noted till the last updates from the electoral officials.

While as in Jammu division, the voting turnout till 12 noon in Kishtawar was recorded 62.7  percent, Doda-50.6 percent, Ramban- 64.6 percent, Udhampur- 52.0 percent, Kathua- 61.5 percent, Jammu- 58.5 percent, Rajouri- 57.6 percent, Poonch- 63.0 percent voting respectively.
