Omar takes dig at UP govt, says cop killers being eulogised as heroes

Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah on Thursday took a dig at the Uttar Pradesh government  saying in Kashmir those who kill cops are terrorists in UP they  are eulogized and termed as heroes by the rulers.

The National Conference leader was talking on the recent Bulandshahr violence where a cop was shot dead after violence erupted in the area following rumours about cow slaughter.

Omar took to his Twitter handle to express his anger, “In Kashmir people who kill cops & snatch weapons are called terrorists. In UP the ruling party will fete & eulogize these killers as heroes. ”

On Monday violent clashes broke out in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district and a police inspector Subodh Kumar  was killed  after reports of alleged cow slaughter
