National Conference on Friday sought intervention of Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in tracing out the Kupwara youth who went missing after being picked up by army in Kunan Poshpora village.

@rajnathsingh, seeks his intervention in tracing Abdul Rashid Dar, who has gone missing in army custody, after being picked up by the army in Kunan Poshpora – hamlet of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.(sic),” JKNC tweeted.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kupwara Yougal Manhas Thursday said that a youth Abdul Rashid Dar of Kunan Poshpora was picked up by army for questioning in connection with a militancy case and he managed to give a slip to forces while on way to a hideout.
